HiFi PiG - “Janine Elliot tries out the entry-level integrated amplifier, the 921, from British manufacturer Trilogy...”

18th May 2026

Trilogy 921

“This was a very musical and engaging integrated amplifier to get you into the Trilogy fraternity. Trilogy doesn’t seem to shout out much about their products, a company I have not reviewed before, but there is a very good reason why they should do so; on whatever type of music I played, the 921 excelled with a refined realism and great focus on the music, allowing me to focus on the music itself, however loud, and also to shout out “Five Hearts”.” READ MORE…

HiFi PiG - Audioshow Deluxe 2026 - UK

21st - 22nd March 2026

Wilson Benesch/Trilogy/CAD / HSE Audio

Like their Bristol setup, Wilson Benesch paired with Trilogy for this room, and had their brand-new Greenwich turntable on demo – this was its debut at the show. They were using their Resolution 3Zero speakers with a pair of IGx Infrasonic generators, Trilogy 995R mono amps, 915R pre-amp, HSE Audio Masterline 7 phono stage, CAD 1543 MKIII DAC, and Innuos ZEN next-gen server. The new Greenwich turntable was kitted out with their GRAVITON Ti armwand, and TESSELLATE Ti-S Sapphire cartridge.

This was an ethereal sounding room, with sound emanating from every corner, far from the speakers positioned in front of us. This room was very well put together and the synergy between components was fantastic, a real aural treat for sure. Later on, Lin was in there when Richard Bates, now working for Trilogy, was playing disco and the audience were lapping it up, and on Sunday, Pink Floyd was the order of the day and also sounding epic.

The Ear - The Bristol Hi-Fi Show 2026 - UK

20th –  22nd February 2026

Wilson Benesch/Trilogy/CAD

The conservatory has become Wilson Benesch’s Bristol residence but it’s a difficult space to get a good sound in. This year with the help of an Innuos streamer, CAD’s 1543 MkIII DAC, Trilogy 925 amplifier and a whole host of CAD Ground Control devices the Discovery 3Zero speakers were singing. The spaciousness of the sound was off the scale when I put on Bill Frisell’s Boubacar and Ray LaMontagne proved equally expansive, if you like 3D imaging there was nothing in the place to beat it.
